Diana Ocasio, Senior CSRD/Student Checkride Coordinator/VA SCO
My name is Diana Ocasio and I have been with Cornerstone since June, 2013. Most of my time was spent running the front desk at the Salt Lake City office, but I am currently the Senior CSRD/Student Checkride Coordinator/VA SCO and rotate between both offices. My favorite part of working at Cornerstone is meeting new people and learning their stories. I love to watch students progress and go on to realize their dreams of flying. Outside of work, I love dancing, BTS music (K-Pop), trying new food, and spending time with my fantasic kids!
Jessica Aguilar, CSRD/Instructor
My name is Jessica. I was born and raised in Southern California and have lived in Utah for 14 years. I absolutely LOVE flying! It’s my therapy. Two years ago, I decided to practice what I preach to my children about following their dreams by following one of mine…to be a pilot. I’ve embarked on a total career change and have enjoyed every minute of it. Cornerstone Aviation has given this ole’ gal a shot and are molding me into the pilot I’ve always dreamed of. During my free time, I absolutely love spending time with my family. We enjoy being outdoors and exploring new places.
Jacee Bruin, CSRD/Instructor

Jacee has been a member of the 419th Fighter Wing at Hill AFB for 18 years and holds the rank of Master Sergent. He was a Crew Chief on F-16’s and F-35’s. He has always had a passion for aviation and is planning on flying for Skywest and eventually Delta Airlines.
Tyler Doubleday, CSRD
My name is Tyler and I’m originally from central New Hampshire. For the last 7 years I was a Navy Diver in San Diego and Pearl Harbor. I decided to change careers and follow my passion for flying through Cornerstone Aviation. I earned my Private Pilot Certificate in August, 2021 and started as a full time Aviation student through Liberty University Online while I work the front desk. Eventually I’d like to fly for Envoy, but I’ll see where the industry takes me. In my spare time I enjoy cooking, backpacking, and snowboarding.
Maddy Latham, CSRD
My name is Maddy Latham. I’ve lived most of my life in Syracuse UT and have always been fascinated by airplanes. When I was a Senior in High school my uncle took me up in his private airplane and I like to joke it was “love at first flight”! I knew this is what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. I am currently working at the front desk and saving up to get my Private Pilot’s License! In my spare time I love drawing, acting, and dancing around my kitchen.
Stacie Whitford, Education Coordinator
My name is Stacie Whitford and I am the Education Coordinator for Cornerstone Aviation. I work mainly with our high school programs and the Liberty University students, but love working with any new student interested in flying. I have spent my live in the aviation industry. Both of my parents retired from the airlines and my husband flies for a Southwest. I hold a bachelors degree in aviation management and worked in several capacities for Skywest Airlines, including Infight Manager. I also spent time at United Airlines doing HR in Salt Lake City. I was the Aviation Admissions Counselor for Westminster College. I had the pleasure of joining the Cornerstone Aviation family in 2018 to continue doing what I love most…getting people into aviation!
My name is Ariel. I’m from Lehi, Utah. I have been with Cornerstone since 2020. I’m already a Certified Nursing Assistant and am currently studying radiology at Weber State University. In the near future, I’d like to study abroad in South Korea. When I finish school I’d like to move to Chicago or Seattle. In my free time, I enjoy going to concerts, watching horror movies, and hiking.
My name is Adrian. I am originally from Los Alamos, New Mexico. I am a retired Army Veteran of 20 years. I worked on Apache Helicopters while I was in the Army. Since my time in service, I worked outside of aviation for a couple of years in the construction and recycling industries. I constantly felt to pull back to aviation, but this time flying instead of maintaining. My family and I decided to make a pretty dramatic change in our lives and move to the Salt Lake City area to attend Cornerstone Aviation as a flight student through Liberty University. Now I have the added privilege of working with this Cornerstone as a CSRD helping others work towards their goals of becoming pilots. During my free time, my family and I love exploring the surrounding mountains and deserts as well as the Salt Lake City area.
