Diana Ocasio, Senior CSRD/Student Checkride Coordinator/VA SCO
My name is Diana Ocasio and I have been with Cornerstone since June, 2013. Most of my time was spent running the front desk at the Salt Lake City office, but I am currently the Senior CSRD/Student Checkride Coordinator/VA SCO and rotate between both offices. My favorite part of working at Cornerstone is meeting new people and learning their stories. I love to watch students progress and go on to realize their dreams of flying. Outside of work, I love dancing, BTS music (K-Pop), trying new food, and spending time with my fantasic kids!

I’ve embarked on a total career change and have enjoyed every minute of it. Cornerstone Aviation has given this ole’ gal a shot and are molding me into the pilot I’ve always dreamed of. My name is Maddy Latham. I’ve lived most of my life in Syracuse UT and have always been fascinated by airplanes. When I was a Senior in High school my uncle took me up in his private airplane and I like to joke it was “love at first flight”! I knew this is what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. I am currently working at the front desk and saving up to get my Private Pilot’s License! In my spare time I love drawing, acting, and dancing around my kitchen.

Adrian Wietzema
My name is Adrian. I am originally from Los Alamos, New Mexico. I am a retired Army Veteran of 20 years. I worked on Apache Helicopters while I was in the Army. Since my time in service, I worked outside of aviation for a couple of years in the construction and recycling industries. I constantly felt to pull back to aviation, but this time flying instead of maintaining. My family and I decided to make a pretty dramatic change in our lives and move to the Salt Lake City area to attend Cornerstone Aviation as a flight student through Liberty University. Now I have the added privilege of working with this Cornerstone as a CSRD helping others work towards their goals of becoming pilots. During my free time, my family and I love exploring the surrounding mountains and deserts as well as the Salt Lake City area.
