Cornerstone’s Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) team is the best in the business.  We are always interested in meeting new CFIs and Check Instructors (CIs) who are motivated to teach, not merely accrue flight hours. Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide flight and ground instruction in accordance with FAA regulations, approved syllabi, and company standards.
  • Prepare students for FAA knowledge tests, stage checks, practical tests, and other required evaluations.
  • Monitor student progress and develop individualized training plans to address areas needing improvement.
  • Maintain accurate and timely student training records, logbooks, endorsements, and other required documentation.
  • Maintain proficiency in aircraft systems, operating procedures, emergency procedures, and instructional techniques.
  • Provide constructive feedback and mentorship to help students develop confidence, professionalism, and sound judgment.
  • Promote a strong safety culture and serve as a professional role model for student pilots.
  • Ensure aircraft discrepancies and maintenance concerns are properly documented and communicated.

Qualifications:
